Introducing KAYNA - a 6-piece ensemble from Ecuador. KAYNA, which means “Yesterday” in Kichwa (native language in Ecuador) preserves the best of traditional music while combining it with present urban rhythm.

About the Event
These indigenous musicians played on a combination of Native American music instruments such as sikus, ocarinas, charangos, pan flutes and more to create a brand-new sound.
Their constant musical adventures allowed them to enjoy and share different cultural passages, capable of interpreting all types of musical genre, especially merging rhythms, genres, instruments and culture, performing an extensive repertoire that goes across traditional Ecuadorian Kichwa music, North American meditation music, "Bollywood" ballads, "Latin" tropical music and world music.
Over the years, KAYNA has performed in South America, The Caribbean, and many European cities, capturing the hearts of music lovers.
This year, KAYNA returns to Singapore with a brand new musical showcase, comprising of a mixture of Native American music, Latino songs as well as familiar covers.
