𝑺𝒕𝒓𝒆𝒂𝒎𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒍𝒊𝒗𝒆 𝒇𝒓𝒐𝒎 𝑴𝒆𝒙𝒊𝒄𝒐

Claudia Montiel was born in Mexico City. She studied voice at the National University of Mexico’s School of Music and later at Mannes School of Music, the Julliard School, and the opera studio of the Metropolitan Opera House in New York City. Montiel is a winner of the Carlo Morelli International Singing Competition.

She has worked with internationally teachers and directors such as Ives Abel, Wayne Sanders, Nico Castel and Ramón Vargas among others. Montiel has also performed in operas and musical comedies, as well as having presented recitals both in Mexico, USA and Europe.
